1992 saw publication of a fresh edition of the accepted Gaelic text in the current spelling as used in education Now the Scottish Bible Society has issued a bilingual edition of the New Testament & Psalms, offering the 1992 Gaelic text alongside the English text of the New King James version. Like previous bilingual editions, this is popular with Gaelic learners as well as native speakers.
